Our two-layer range hood sheet — carbon fiber cotton bonded to a white fiber cotton layer — is trimmed on site to fit most hood cavities. For a production program we cut it to your dimensions.

What is an activated carbon filter sheet?
A flat layer of activated carbon media that adsorbs odors and VOCs from air passing through it. It is cut to the housing it goes into. We make it in five constructions: ACF felt and cloth, carbon nonwoven, a three-layer sandwich composite, carbon foam and granular carbon mesh.
Is an activated charcoal sheet the same as an activated carbon sheet?
Yes. Activated charcoal and activated carbon are two names for the same material, so activated charcoal sheets, activated carbon sheets and activated carbon filter sheets are the same product.
Which thickness of carbon filter sheet do I need?
It depends on the space in the housing and the airflow. Thin builds use ACF felt (0.8–4.5 mm) or the sandwich composite (0.5–1.5 mm); deeper builds use carbon nonwoven (1–30 mm) or granular carbon mesh (3–50 mm). Send the dimensions and the airflow and we suggest two or three to compare.

Yes. Sheets are supplied as rolls, cut sheets or parts die-cut to your drawing, and can be laminated to foam, HEPA or nonwoven as one part. Send a drawing, a DXF or a photo of the part with a ruler.
Is there a minimum order, and are samples free?
Bulk orders start at 30 units, made to your specification. One free sample per buyer, shipped from our factory; shipping is not included.
