What to send for a quote
Two things let the factory answer properly: the dimensions of the part and the airflow it has to pass. Everything below sharpens the quote, but you do not need all of it to start.
- The part you buy today, or a drawing — PDF, DXF, or a photo with a ruler in it
- External dimensions and the sealing or mounting interface, if the part has to drop into an existing housing without changing the tooling around it
- Nominal airflow and the pressure-drop limit the design tolerates
- The target contaminant — and whether plain activated carbon is already known to be insufficient. Ammonia and amines point to molecular sieve media or chemically impregnated carbon rather than a higher iodine number
- The rest of the stack — any pre-filter, support or retention layer, and the frame material
- Annual volume and sample quantity, and whether tooling is likely to be needed
- Documents you need with the quote — TDS, SDS, RoHS or REACH
