Why the sandwich construction
Does not shed carbon
Carbon is trapped between two fabrics rather than bonded to a surface. Nothing lands in the litter tray.
Thin enough to line a wall
0.5–1.5 mm. Goes where a pad will not — inside a pet house, around a duct, under a tray.
Filters dust as well
≥92% at 5 μm, so it earns its place as a pre-filter rather than a pure adsorption layer.
If the media sits somewhere a pet can touch it, shedding is not a detail — it is the whole decision. Settle that before comparing adsorption numbers.
